We believe that accessible hiring platforms create more equitable opportunities. We are committed to continuous improvement and welcome feedback from all users about how we can do better.
Our Commitment
TaIQ is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website and mobile applications.
Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA). We aim for at minimum WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across all of our digital products.
We have a dedicated Accessibility Working Group that meets bi-weekly to review reported issues, plan improvements, and conduct testing with people with disabilities.
Conformance Status
TaIQ is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to resolve all known issues.
Third-party audit using axe DevTools, manual keyboard testing, and user testing with screen reader users. Overall score: 94/100. Three Level AA criteria require remediation (see Section 7).
Our mobile applications (iOS and Android) target WCAG 2.2 AA and are tested with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
WCAG 2.2 Coverage
Below is our status against WCAG 2.2's four principles — Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust:
Text Alternatives (1.1)
All images, icons, and non-text content have descriptive alt text or are marked decorative.
Captions & Audio (1.2)
Video content includes closed captions. Audio descriptions available on request.
Adaptable Content (1.3)
Semantic HTML structure, proper heading hierarchy, and meaningful reading order throughout.
Contrast Ratios (1.4.3)
All text meets 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio. Large text meets 3:1. Verified with Colour Contrast Analyser.
Keyboard Accessible (2.1)
All interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard alone. No keyboard traps.
Enough Time (2.2)
Session timeouts warn users 2 minutes in advance. Carousels and animations pauseable.
Skip Navigation (2.4.1)
"Skip to main content" link appears at top on keyboard focus for all pages.
Focus Visible (2.4.7)
Keyboard focus indicators are clearly visible on all interactive elements.
Focus Appearance (2.4.11) WCAG 2.2
Focus indicators meet minimum size and contrast requirements per the new WCAG 2.2 criterion.
Drag Movements (2.5.7) WCAG 2.2
All drag-based interactions have single-pointer alternatives.
Redundant Entry (3.3.7) WCAG 2.2
Multi-step forms partially remeber previously entered info. Full fix in Q2 2025.
Error Prevention (3.3)
Forms validate inline, display descriptive error messages, and allow review before submission.
Parsing / Name, Role, Value (4.1)
All UI components have ARIA roles, states, and properties properly implemented.
Text Spacing (1.4.12)
Most content adapts to custom text spacing. One legacy PDF viewer component under remediation (Q2).

Third-Party Content
TaIQ embeds or links to content from third-party providers. While we work with providers who prioritize accessibility, we cannot guarantee full compliance for all third-party content.
- Intercom (customer support chat): Partially accessible — keyboard operable, but some complex interactions may be challenging for screen reader users
- Embedded LinkedIn profiles: Subject to LinkedIn's own accessibility standards
- Employer-uploaded content: Job descriptions and company materials uploaded by employers may not meet our accessibility standards. We encourage employers to provide accessible formats and are developing tooling to help them do so.
